| What's New at Paws for Thought? | ||||||||
| We will be starting up our small group classes again this Fall. In the Puppy Headstart program will address play biting and house training plus cover basics such as sit, down, polite greeting, polite walking more... In the Adult Basic Manners class we will work on the basics mentioned above, and build on skills dogs may already have. We will also provide a Therapy Dog class when there is sufficient interest to run the class. In this class we will prepare the dogs and handlers to take the Therapy Dog International skills test, and the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. Both of these tests certify that your dog has the skills required to be out and about in society. One of the things that makes our classes something special at Paws for Thought is the very small numbers of students. That allows us to focus on our students and make sure no dog gets left behind! We will be working in conjunction with All Breed Kennels at their new location on Ford Street in Maumee (the former Pups N People building). |
