Anna has been working with dogs for over a decade. She began in rescue, consulting on behavior cases and serving as the Community Outreach Coordinator for Mighty Mutts.

Our training practices are reward-based and rooted in science.

We adhere to LIMA (least intrusive, minimally aversive) and force-free principles. This means that we do not use ‘aversives’ or ‘corrections’- techniques that cause fear, pain, and frustration in dogs. We aim to educate clients and provide them with the stepping stones for behavior change so that clients can walk away from our training experience empowered to continue on their own.

Why Our Credentials Matter

Anyone can call themselves a dog trainer, so we make sure ours are visible: every trainer on our team is certified through a nationally recognized certification program, meaning our expertise has been independently verified. We also stay current through ongoing continuing education, like conferences and coursework, so the guidance you get is always rooted in the latest canine science.

CLIENT STORIES

What our clients say.

"

Anna is an incredible trainer. She is kind, patient and extremely skilled. She is also as fun and sweet as she is knowledgeable. I would recommend her to any dog guardian in NYC.

-Goblin’s Guardian

"

Anna really helped to guide me in how to help manage the urban anxiety and then worked on training tactics for confidence building and enrichment. I’ve been working with Anna for nearly two years now and she’s been such a critical resource around Cornelius’ development from basic manners, to how to handle his humping era (in the months before his neuter), to locking down important skills like recall etc. She’s also recommended great group classes to help work on my dog’s reactivity, whether they are lead by herself or by Erin (another wonderful trainer!). I couldn’t recommend them both enough!

-Cornelius’ Guardian

"

We had a great experience working with Anna on obedience and fun trick training for my dog. She is patient, knowledgeable and made every session enjoyable for both of us. We learned so much along the way and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent dog trainer!
